HRH Prince Henry of Wales and Ms Meghan Markle announced their engagement during November 2017, the date of the wedding was revealed on the 12th February this year and the Royal Couple will wed on Saturday 19th May at 12pm. The wedding event itself will take place at St George's Chapel, Windsor Castle.
Traditionally Royal weddings take place on a week day, the Archbishop of Canterbury will officiate as the Royal Couple exchange vows with The Dean of Windsor conducting the service.
The Royal couple has invited 2,640 members of the public and hopes this to be a magical occasion for all the Royal Family and their friends.
The image on the coin itself includes the initials of the Royal Couple 'M & H' in the centre surrounded by a ribbon which is supported by 4 cherubs with the 5th cherub blowing a horn in celebration. The obverse of the coin includes an effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II produced by Pobjoy Mint.
The couple have yet another break from custom, it has been revealed that the wedding cake will be a lemon elderflower cake and will include the brilliant colours of spring.
