The Sapphire Coronation 2018 The Lion & The Unicorn 1/25oz Fine Gold Coin

As Prince Charles was offered a hand-painted individual invite to his mom's Coronation which included these stunning monsters, we believed a coin integrating them would be a distinct way to commemorate the Sapphire Jubilee of this memorable day. The depiction includes a Lion seated behind a Unicorn with an English Rose, a Scottish Thistle, a Welsh Daffodil and a Northern Irish Shamrock. Due to the symbolic nature of all the components of this design, we are positive that it will be an extremely preferable addition to any Royal collection!!
The obverse features the Pobjoy exclusive effigy of Queen Elizabeth II in exceptional detail.
The Lion and the Unicorn represent the United Kingdom and appear as its heraldic advocates on its coat of arms. The Lion represents England and the Unicorn represents Scotland.
The 65th Anniversary is connected with the gems sapphire - symbolic of commitment and some state can bring inner peace and fulfilment of dreams and success. The colour connected with this anniversary is blue - symbolic of trust and stability, peace and commitment, all attributes you would anticipate in a Sovereign.
Queen Elizabeth II acceded to the throne at the age of 25, upon the death of her dad, King George VI, on 6 February 1952, and was proclaimed Queen by her various privy and executive councils quickly later on. In the event itself, at Westminster Abbey, Elizabeth swore an oath to promote the law and govern the Church of England.
