This collection of vibrant and engaging stamps includes the studio’s stars, consisting of Shaun the Sheep and Wallace & Gromit, in their most well-known moments. This set likewise includes unique never ever before seen images of Morph at some Isle of Man landmarks after paying us a visit to explore the Island.
Whether a lover of Isle of Man stamps or a devoted Aardman fan there is something for everyone in this charming collection!
The very first stamp shows Morph almost being flattened by the Laxey tram, on his way to the Post Office. The second stamp features Wallace & Gromit on their bike and sidecar from their 3rd film ‘A Close Shave’, where they discovered themselves unwittingly knotted in a sheep-rustling scheme with the evil canine, Preston.
The third stamp from the collection features Shaun the Sheep at his house in Mossy Bottom Farm, where there is seldom a serene minute as Shaun produces havoc for the Farmer and his sheepdog, Bitzer. The fourth stamp is an illustration of Timmy, the little lamb of Shaun the Sheep’s flock with a delicious cake commemorating Aardman’s 40th birthday.
The fifth stamp features Shaun the Sheep from the timeless episode ‘Draw the Line’, where Shaun and good friends highjack a roadway line-painting machine to develop mayhem by painting a huge artwork in the field. The sixth stamp is an illustration of Wallace & Gromit from the movie ‘A Grand Day Out’, where the resourceful duo travel to the Moon to sample cheese.
The penultimate stamp features Trixie and Captain Cuddlepuss from the Academy Award winning short film ‘Creature Comforts’, where they are relaxing in the house on the couch with a cup of tea. The last stamp is a snap of Morph at Laxey Wheel, from his current journey to the Isle of Man, where he discovered some ‘fool’s gold’.
